Arctic Lab is a platform for social science and humanities (SSH) Arctic research at Aalborg University. The lab serves as a forum for AAU’s SSH Arctic researchers to experiment with new theories and methods, foster discussions on work-in-progress ideas and texts, and not least coordinate and network with other Arctic researchers.
Arctic Lab is housed at the Department of Culture and Learning across Aalborg and Copenhagen campus, but Arctic Lab warmly invites researchers from diverse faculties and institutes who share an interest in Arctic research from an SSH perspective. The year 2024 sees Astrid Oberborbeck Andersen and Mette Simonsen Abildgaard at the helm as our dedicated coordinators.
Interested in joining the Arctic Lab community? Reach out to Astrid (aoan@ikl.aau.dk) or Mette (msab@ikl.aau.dk) to get on the lab's mailing list or share your ideas for engaging activities within the lab.
